LEGO Star Wars - Darth Maul (Mechanical Legs) - sw0493

The Darth Maul sw0493 minifigure represents one of the most dramatic chapters in the Sith Lord's story — his survival and return in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. After being bisected by Obi-Wan Kenobi at the end of The Phantom Menace, Maul clung to life through sheer hatred on the junkyard world of Lotho Minor, where he had fashioned himself a set of crude mechanical spider legs. This sw0493 variant captures Maul as he appeared following his rehabilitation by Mother Talzin — restored with proper cybernetic legs, full of vengeance, and once again a threat to the galaxy.

The sw0493 Darth Maul (Mechanical Legs) was released exclusively in set 75022 Mandalorian Speeder (2013), a Clone Wars-era set now retired, making this variant increasingly difficult to find in new, unplayed condition.

COLLECTOR NOTES

Darth Maul's mechanical legs variant sw0493 is one of the most sought-after Sith minifigures in the LEGO Star Wars lineup. It is exclusive to set 75022 Mandalorian Speeder, which was retired in 2013, and has never been re-released. The mechanical legs printing makes it visually distinct from all other Maul variants and directly references his rehabilitation arc in The Clone Wars Season 4–5. A must-have for any Clone Wars villain collection.
