Initially one of the Empire's most determined enforcers, Kallus gradually questioned the Empire's ideology and ultimately became a secret ally of the Rebel Alliance, making him one of the series' most compelling and well-developed characters.

The sw0625 variant debuted in the 75083 AT-DP, where Kallus commanded Imperial forces on Lothal, before later returning in the 75158 Rebel Combat Frigate, reflecting his later role in the series.
