Battle Droid Pilots served as the dedicated operators of the Confederacy of Independent Systems' military hardware, piloting vehicles such as the Armored Assault Tank (AAT), Multi Troop Transport (MTT), and Vulture Droids during the Clone Wars. Their distinctive blue markings identify them as specialized pilot units within the vast Separatist Droid Army.

The sw0360 variant first appeared in the 2011 Star Wars Advent Calendar before being included in several iconic Prequel Trilogy sets. Its presence across multiple vehicle releases makes it an essential minifigure for collectors recreating Separatist battle formations or assembling accurate droid crews. It also pairs perfectly with standard Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, Droidekas, and other CIS forces for impressive Clone Wars displays.
