• COLLECTOR NOTES

Hoth Rebel Troopers formed part of the Rebel Alliance forces stationed at Echo Base on the frozen planet Hoth during Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.

Equipped with specialized cold-weather uniforms, these soldiers were responsible for defending the Rebel base and its surrounding installations against the harsh environment and potential Imperial attacks.

Their most famous engagement came during the Battle of Hoth, when the Galactic Empire discovered Echo Base and launched a major ground assault involving AT-AT walkers, Snowtroopers and other Imperial forces.

While Rebel Snowspeeders attempted to slow the advancing Imperial walkers, Hoth Rebel Troopers defended trenches and defensive positions around the base, helping protect the evacuation of Rebel personnel.

The sw0765 variant was introduced in 2016 with the 75146 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, where it appeared as the Day 9 minifigure.

One of the defining characteristics of sw0765 is its white Hoth uniform combined with a tan-bearded head, distinguishing this figure from the numerous other Rebel Trooper variants LEGO has produced for Battle of Hoth sets.

This specific configuration is also identified without a backpack, further differentiating it from closely related Hoth Rebel Trooper versions.

From a collector perspective, its release history is especially noteworthy: sw0765 appeared in only one LEGO release and was available exclusively in 2016.

This makes it a distinct retired Hoth Rebel Trooper variant from the mid-2010s generation of LEGO Star Wars minifigures.

Its neutral Rebel military design also makes sw0765 particularly versatile for army building and displays. It can naturally accompany other Hoth Rebel Troopers, Snowspeeder Pilots, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and other Rebel Alliance characters in recreations of Echo Base and the Battle of Hoth.

For collectors assembling the evolution of LEGO Hoth Rebel Troopers, sw0765 represents an interesting 2016 variant with a recognizable head and uniform configuration.
